About
Sheeptag
|
Introduction | |
Sheep tag is a game
which involves 2 teams, the sheep and the shepherds (often referred
to as wolves). This game was originally invented by someone called
Star. His site is no longer in existence and he has stopped making
maps, his website was
http://sheeptag.tk/
Most sheep tags last no
more than 20 minutes and a full game usually consists of 8 sheep and
4 wolves. However there are sometimes benefits of using less wolves
as items may be gained by the wolves. There are also certain maps
that offer a more challenging 6 vs 6 set up. |

Aim Of The Game | |
For sheep, it is to
survive the full length of the game, this can be done by building
farms (usually 1 space apart) to block wolves from getting you.
However a style of playing called 'run tag' involves mostly running
from wolves and using little tricks to fool the wolves. However it
is recommend to just build farms consistently 1 space apart as this
is the most effective way of staying alive although may not be as
fun as run tag. Rescuing dead sheep is a vital part to winning the
game, this is done by attacking the wisp in the middle of the map.
For wolves, it is to
kill all the sheep within the given time. This is achieved by trying
to catch out the sheep by using images, various items/potions, and
by trying to anticipate a sheeps next move. It is vital to lay wards
and to stop sheep from saving each other, however camping is very
much frowned upon.

techniques.

Below
is a run tag screen shot, the aim of this is to out run a wolf by
blocking small passages, making the wolf run around farms and using
little tricks to get away from wolf, as can be seen in the videos.

invisible farms, stun towers, fireworks.
